French Love Affair

On our recent trip to St Tropez I was lucky enough to squeeze in a visit to one of my favourite antique markets. I came away with a load of vintage school maps and am now the proud owner of a beautiful vintage map of Paris. I promise to show some pics once the house doesn’t look like some kind of wedding bomb has just exploded everywhere…leaving a trail of confetti on every surface…..who knew weddings could be so messy or that you would end up with questionable wedding presents…one being a wooden Welsh love spoon…note to self I obviously didn’t put the John Lewis vouchers in a bold enough font. Anyway back to the antiques market on the Place des Lices & snaps of St Tropez…don’t worry I will bore you with more wedding talk later.

Vintage Hunter

On our recent holiday to the other side of France we couldn’t help but go in search of vintage treasures. This is one of my favourite places to pick up one off vintage charms and trinkets. It also has a great selection of vintage home wear and furniture.  It’s a hive of inspiration and I always come home with baskets full of vintage finds.  As usual we weren’t disappointed.

Had my eye on the Nice sign but not on the price tag!So wanted one of these vintage doctor cases.

Gorgeous French linens.Picked up a vintage brooch or two! Can’t wait to share them with you.Loved this idea – stealing it for the wedding!

With love from Paris

Here are some pic’s from a recent inspirational trip to Gaye Paris.

In usual Cutie Pie style the day was filled with macaroons, rabbits & of course jewellery! I treated myself to two new pretty shades of Topshop nail varnish & maybe a macaroon or two! But I really wanted to take the pastel coloured lapin home with me to add the ever growing collection of rabbits in the office.

J’adore Paris!

Postcards from Heaven

A couple of months ago I was lucky enough to get to go to South Africa, Camps Bay. It was an amazing holiday & as always went way too quickly. They have a great sense of style in South Africa, I especially love their interior design. They have a host of cool cafes and the one below is one of my favourites. Its mine & my sisters favourite girly place for brunch or we normally stop by to drool over the adorable cakes.Yummy cakes served on vintage plates.

I was desperate to take this two back home with me for my mini Schnauzer Noodle.Pancetta & Sage
